POLICIES
Appointment Scheduling
- For routine appointments (periodic checks, diabetes review, Hypertension review etc.) please call the office to schedule the appointment
- You can schedule same day appointments online for urgent concerns.
- Please refrain to only one problem per visit to ensure timely service. If you have several concerns, you will need to book multiple appointments on different days.
Missed Appointments or appointment cancellations
- Please notify the office 48hours prior to your appointment for a physical or 24hrs prior to all other appointments. This will enable the reserved slot to be used by another patient.
- There is a charge for missed appointments. Please see the uninsured service charges for more information.
- Please ensure you are on time for your appointment. If you arrive 10mins into your appointment, you will need to either wait till the doctor has the availability to see you or reschedule ( this will be considered as a same day missed appointment).
Telephone Messages
- The phones will only be answered during business hours. Due to the nature of the clinic, if your call is not answered, please leave a message.
- All messages are triaged and will be returned.
- Please leave concise messages and kindly avoid multiple messages
- The phone takes messages only during office hours. Messages left when the office is closed will not be retrieved.
Prescription Policies
- Please schedule an appointment for all prescription refills. Please proactively discuss this at your appointment.
- Prescription requests from the pharmacies will not be refilled. Kindly schedule an appointment.
- All medications will be prescribed to last for 6 – 12 months ( this depends on the clinical needs).
- Please take note of the amount of medication you have left. Avoid waiting till the last pill to schedule an appointment.
